12:30-1pm Check-in
1-2:30 Class 1: All levels
Break [15 min]
2:45-4:15 Class 2: Intermediate Level
Break [15 min]
4:30- 6:00 Class 3: Advanced Level
8pm-9pm: Drop-in lesson (included with admission to the dance)
9pm-12am Dance to Chelsea Reed and the Fairweather Nine
12-1am Soul Hour (DJed, included with admission to the dance)
There will also be a Mix & Match competition for Newcomer dancers during the evening dance. For the finals, the Newcomer dancers will be partnered with an Advanced dancer “Pro/Am” style. Free to enter and no partner needed, but registration required--add it when you register for the dance.
Classes and the dance can be purchased a la carte or as an all-inclusive Full Day Pass with prices as follows:
1 class: $35 in advance or $45 at the door
2 classes: $65 in advance or $80 at the door
3 classes: $90 in advance, $100 at the door
Dance Only: $20 in advance, $30 at the door, $15 student/military
Full Day Pass: $100 only available in advance
*In advance pricing ends at noon on December 7*
There is no level testing for the advanced class, but we highly recommend you review the prerequisites before signing up for this class level.
Advanced level prerequisites:
Have danced Lindy Hop for at least 2 years
Have likely traveled to multiple workshops outside of the DC-area
Have likely participated in a regular practice group, competed before, taken private lessons.
