Abstract
This seminar will explore key principles of differentiation and showcase how modern language teachers can adapt their teaching to foster personalised learning for students of various proficiency levels. Participants will learn practical strategies for embedding these principles into their daily classroom practice. The session will include successfully implemented examples of routines and language activities that illustrate how it is possible to adapt teaching effectively without increasing workload
Short bio of speaker
Head of Languages at Rushcliffe Spencer Academy, Eva has taught languages and held various leadership roles in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire schools for over 20 years. She currently combines her role as Head of Languages at Rushcliffe Spencer Academy with being a Modern Languages Associate Tutor at the School of Education, University of Nottingham. She strongly believes in the value of language learning to enable young people to become open-minded, responsible global citizens and the power of education to promote a fairer society.
