About this Event
Join us for a free CPR training session hosted by DC Fire and Emergency Services (DC FEMS). Members from DC FEMS will be onsite to instruct participants on the life-saving technique, Hands-On-Heart.
The Hands-On-Heart technique involves chest compressions without artificial respiration, allowing participants to focus on hand placement, tempo, and the number of compressions.
In addition to CPR training, a nutritionist from Giant Foods will be on site providing heart-healthy tips and information.
Please Note: This training does not provide participants with a certification in CPR or a certification card.
