About this Event

Welcome to the NCBW NOVA Chapter April 2025 Meet and Greet event!
We invite you to join us and learn more about the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc., (NCBW), Northern Virginia Chapter. NCBW is a national 501(c)(3) non-profit organization representing 63 chapters in 25 states. Through advocacy we work as change agents to influence public policy that promotes gender equity in the areas of health, education and economic empowerment. We believe through our efforts we will fulfill our vision of seeing black women and girls living in a world where socio-economic inequity does not exist.
Our programs and their focused initiatives are designed and implemented to be transformative; NCBW uses a mix of community-based activities and advocacy to address current issues, concerns, and needs that impact the lives of black women and girls. The Northern Virginia Chapter is hosting a networking reception for women interested in hearing more about NCBW membership and meeting with current members on Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm at the Gerry Hyland Government Center, located at 8350 Richmond Highway, Alexandria, VA 22309.
