"We look forward to engaging in thoughtful discussion with our candidates running for the office of Sheriff and identifying that they understand what are the needs of the community and how they will go beyond "the job" to keep our community safe," Dillard University.
Register to be counted, educate to be empowered, mobilize to be heard. Your Voice – Your Power - Your Vote," Lower 9th Ward Voter's Coalition.
"The vote is the most powerful nonviolent tool we have to create change in our communities. When we vote, we claim our power and shape our future," Greater Evergreen Baptist Church.
"The Orleans Parish Sheriff's Office is an important part of public safety. Informed voters make all the difference," The Pontchartrain (LA) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated.

"Last year, we proudly registered over 100 Carver scholars to vote—but our commitment doesn’t stop there. At Carver, we believe it’s just as important to be informed as it is to be registered. This forum is a meaningful opportunity for our scholars, families, and the greater community, to not only engage in the democratic process, but be able to make informed decisions," G.W. Carver High School.
This event is a powerful tool in shaping our democracy by providing a seat at the table with the candidates, as Vice President Kamala Harris said, "Your vote is your voice, and you voice is your power," Mystic Krewe of Femme Fatale.
