About this Event
NCAC is excited to present its 5th Annual NatureFest! Families will have the opportunity to participate in activities and projects, growing kits, science demonstrations, nature art, bird and nature walks, and an experience for the whole family to enjoy.
At check-in, each of your children will receive a bag and name tag to write their names on. They will have the opportunity to make crafts, participate in workshops, and attend as many performances as they would like.
The concept of NatureFest originated in 2021 in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic. After being separated for so long, we needed to find ways to reconnect. Georgia couldn't think of any better way to reconnect than through nature. Nature is resilient through changes in time and season, and so is our community. Through partnerships andcollaboation with local non-profits and environmental organizations, NatureFest was born at Tilghman Lake Park for its inaugural start in 2021. Thank you to the community that has made this event possible every year since then.
