Get ready to run, walk, or jog a 5K along the Scioto Mile at NC4K's Reindeer Run. The 2024 Reindeer Run 5K will take place on Saturday, December 14th at the National Veterans Memorial and Museum. Looking for a more family-friendly option? Sign up for our half-mile Santa Stroll or Kids' Fun Run. Everyone is invited to join us to celebrate at our Rooftop Reindeer Party after the finish line. Your participation will make a meaningful impact on the lives of NC4K Families this holiday season.Divisions and Pricing:
5K Registration: $35 through October 25th
Includes chip timing, participant t-shirt, finisher's medal, and entrance to the Rooftop Reindeer Party at the National Veterans Memorial and Museum. A T-shirt is not guaranteed if you register after November 15. A $5 discount for 5K participants aged 12 and under will be applied at checkout.
Half-Mile Santa Stroll Registration: $30 through October 25th
Includes participant t-shirt and participation in a scenic stroll around the National Veterans Memorial and Museum grounds leading up to the Rooftop Reindeer Party. A T-shirt is not guaranteed if you register after November 15. *Does not include a finisher's medal.*
Kids Fun Run Registration: $5
Includes Fun Run prize, complimentary participation in the 5K or Santa Stroll with a paid adult, and entrance to the Rooftop Reindeer Party at the National Veterans Memorial and Museum. *Does not include a t-shirt or finisher's medal.* Distance is approximately a 50-yard dash.
Virtual 5K Registration: $45
Includes participant t-shirt and finisher's medal. The packet will be mailed to the address listed on the registration form. Mailed packets may be received following the event.

Reindeer Run FAQ's:
Can I walk the 5K route?
- Yes, you are welcome to walk, jog, or run the mapped 5K route.
Are strollers allowed on the 5K route?
- Jogging strollers are welcome! We kindly ask that participants with strollers line up towards the back of the starting line to allow room for individual runners up front.
Can my pet participate in the walk or 5K?
-The Reindeer Run is not a pet-friendly event.
How long is the walk option?
-Offered this year is the Santa Stroll which is a half-mile walk option on the grounds at Veterans Memorial.
Where can I park?
-Dedicated event parking will be provided at the LAZ Lots adjacent to the Veterans Memorial.
Is there a water stop along the 5K route?
-There is no water stop along the route. Water will be provided as participants cross the finish line.
Is this event refundable?
-The NC4K Reindeer Run fees and donations cannot be refunded. Your fundraising dollars are put to work immediately to allow NC4K to continue to provide critical programs and services.
Are there restrooms available along the route?
-Available restrooms are located at Veterans Memorial where the race kick-off and after-party take place.
