About this Event

Join us on Wednesday, February 1st to gain some valuable insight into the NC IDEA grant review process, network with the NC IDEA team and other founders, and meet some of the previous grant awardees.

The Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (formerly Ventureprise) will be hosting the NC IDEA FOUNDATION to provide an overview of the upcoming Spring 2023 NC IDEA MICRO ($10K) and NC IDEA SEED ($50K) grants, which provide funding to early-stage, high-growth companies.

During the first part of the session you will have a chance to learn about NC IDEA and introduce yourself to part of the team, including Amy Bastian who manages the MICRO and SEED grants process. In addition, past grant recipients will share their perspective on the grant application process and on the benefits of being an NC IDEA grant recipient.

The second part of the prep session will be interactive with direct feedback on what it means to submit a successful application for your venture. The session will provide tips and best practices for writing a successful application, with plenty of time for questions.

Learn more about NC IDEA, NC IDEA MICRO, and NC IDEA SEED on NC IDEA's website. Also, get to know past grant recipients via the NC IDEA company directory and news stories.
