About this Event
The North Carolina Governor’s Food Safety and Defense Task Force kindly invites you to attend the 2025 Annual Conference on Tuesday, April 29 and Wednesday, April 30 at the Laureate Center in Kannapolis. The half day on Wednesday, April 30, includes a 2 hour tabletop exercise and additional presentations. This year’s conference theme is Food Safety Amidst Crisis: Prioritization and Innovation in Emergencies. Look forward to an engaging event that will address the recent challenges we have faced in food safety and public health in NC this past year. You will get a chance to learn from the experiences, emerging problems, strategies and insights of others to increase your understanding of food safety and food defense during unforeseen circumstances. The focus will be to strengthen networks and promote collaboration as a driving force to advance food safety and innovation that ensure business stability and public health.
Continental breakfast, and refreshments will be provided both days, and lunch will be provided on the first day and is included in your registration fees. We are excited to be able to host a networking, social hour at the conclusion of the first day of the Annual Conference. Food safety and defense in North Carolina is a collaborative effort and are happy to provide an opportunity for everyone in attendance to be able to have some time to get to know each other. Lastly, CEUs will be given for full attendance of the conference.
