Training Exercise
Instructions will be provided on using a compass.
The Training Exercise is a self-guided course for experienced navigators to improve their navigation skills. To obtain a copy of the training map you must register for the Défi Fundy Orienteering Challenge.

Défi Fundy Orienteering Challenge.
The premier race of the weekend will be the Défi Fundy Orienteering Challenge. There will be 5 courses, from beginner (easy) to a challenging course for experienced orienteers. Visit the Défi Fundy Orienteering Challenge website for event details:

Day 1: May 17, 2025
Navigation Clinic
Instructions will be provided on using a compass. A course will be set up to practice using a compass. The duration of the clinic will be approximately 2 hours. There will not be any charge for the session.
The clinic will be held in the playground area near the Salt and Fir Centre. Look for the “ORIENTEERING” banner.

Pre-registration is requested by May 13, 2025, to help the organizers prepare sufficient material. Register here or by email with the organizer ([email protected]).
1. Event Registration form

2. Waiver and Assumption of Risk forms (For all ages)
Waiver and Assumption of Risk (one per participant, is required once a year)
To reduce the congestion at the on-site registration area, please print and pre-fill the paperwork
Provide the following information.

The on-site registration will be at the west end of the playground area. Look for the “ORIENTEERING” banner.

2. Exercice d'entraînement
L'exercice d'entraînement est un cours autoguidé destiné aux navigateurs expérimentés pour améliorer leurs compétences en navigation. Pour obtenir une copie de la carte d'entraînement, vous devez vous inscrire au Défi Fundy Orienteering Challenge.

L’événement principale du week-end sera le Défi Fundy Orienteering Challenge. Il y aura 5 parcours, avec un parcours pour les débutants (facile) jusqu’au un parcours difficile pour les orienteurs expérimentés. Jour 1: Le 18 mai 2025
Clinique de navigation
Des instructions seront fournies sur l'utilisation d'une boussole. Un cours sera mis en place pour s'entraîner à l'aide d'une boussole. La durée de la clinique sera d'environ 2 heures. Il n'y aura aucun frais pour la séance.
La clinique aura lieu dans l'aire de jeux près du Centre Sel et Sapin.Rechercher la bannière "ORIENTEERING".
