Conflict happens. Let’s navigate conflict constructively.
It is a reality in every church and every relationship—even when they ARE healthy! Being equipped with the skills to respond to and resolve conflict more effectively happens when you have a plan and the expectation that there is a way through it.
In this workshop, you will examine the nature and role of conflict and investigate how your personal communication styles and emotions affect your response. You will also learn skills and strategies for peacemaking.
Most importantly, you will be able to practice these new skills so that when conflict appears in any part of your life—from personal relationships to work settings to your church—you can manage it successfully.
This workshop benefits clergy and church leaders looking for concepts and practices to prepare before conflict arises.
If your church or circuit would like to host a similar workshop, please contact Ryan Christenson at [email protected] or (712) 227-1277.
Each participant will receive a training manual and will have a little homework to do beforehand. Please take the conflict-style assessment and review their results before arriving at the workshop. You will receive an email of instructions on how to complete the conflict-style assessment when you register for the event.
