About this Event

This session will teach you some skills from Compassion Focused Therapy to help you foster self-compassion and a more balanced self-perception. The session will also teach you some Acceptance and Commitment Therapy skills to help you manage with the challenges that come with living with a long-term condition.

People who may be interested in this talk include:

Individuals living with long term conditions who are also experiencing health anxiety and low self-esteem.
Individuals who feel they are managing well and would like to add some tools to their psychological toolbox!
Family members or friends of individuals with long term conditions, who may also be experiencing some anxiety.
Individuals who would like to learn more about these approaches and how they can be used in relation to long term conditions.

The talk will be 1 hour with time for questions also!
