The postpartum period begins the moment a baby is born, it can often be overlooked but it is an important time filled with emotions, vulnerability and great change. While much focus is given to prenatal care and education, often women are not fully equipped with enough knowledge and tools to navigate the fourth trimester with ease, strength and grace. Heather has created a workshop where you can kick start the exploration of your post-natal body and learn to navigate your “new normal”. She will guide you through a relaxing flow based yoga practice and educate you on the importance of taking care of your deepest layers (specifically your diaphragm, core, and pelvic floor) and how to rebuild a strong, solid foundation with safe and effective movement early on to set your body up for success for the long term! You will spend time journaling, meditating and learning how to best care for your physical and mental health during this important time in motherhood. Take this time to connect with like-minded women, ask questions and walk away from this supportive workshop with valuable resources and reasonable expectations to guide you into the future!
