About this Event
There have been numerous changes during 2023 and 2024 to workplace laws that will affect how you operate your business. As an employer, it can be challenging to stay up to date and to navigate ongoing changes.
Fruit Growers Tasmania are delivering regional workshops in Devonport, Hobart and Launceston, to help growers and their business support staff to understand how these changes affect their business and their staff.
Topics being covered during these workshops will include:
- recent changes to the Fair Work Act
- upcoming changes to the Fair Work Act
- upcoming changes to the PALM scheme
- cessation of Harvest Trail Services
- seasonal mental health awareness and the effects on productivity
Sharing their knowledge will be:
- Amanda Higgins (Fair Farms)
- Steve Burdette (Approved Employers Australia)
- Rural Alive & Well (RAW)
