🔥 Introducing “Navigating Intimacy” — A transformative, judgment-free workshop designed for dancers and non-dancers alike who want to deepen their understanding of respectful connection, consent, and awareness.
Whether you’re a lead or follow, man, woman, or nonbinary — this experience invites you to:
• Reflect, discuss, and move with more awareness.
• Explore how gender roles and trauma shape our boundaries, perceptions, and expectations.
• Learn to recognize non-verbal cues and respect them in real time.
• Gain tools to distinguish between intentional harm and innocent ignorance — and respond with compassion and accountability.
• Discover the Wheel of Consent, a powerful framework that shifts how we think about giving, receiving, allowing, and taking — both on the dance floor and off.
⸻
🧠 What to Expect:
• Facilitated Dialogue & Retrospective: A brave and respectful space for open conversation across gendered perspectives.
• Lab Activities & Demonstrations: Interactive exercises to embody and explore consent, communication, and comfort.
• Insightful Frameworks: Unpack value systems, trauma responses, social awkwardness, and the difference between discomfort and danger.
⸻

This is not about blame or shame.
This is for anyone who wants to:
• Be a safer, more respectful dancer and partner.
• Cultivate trust and connection in social spaces.
