Join us for an in-depth panel discussion on Navigating Fundraising Challenges for Fintech Companies, tailored specifically for startups in the fintech ecosystem. This event will bring together experienced voices in fintech to explore the unique hurdles fintech founders face when raising capital. From regulatory complexities to investor expectations and competition in a fast-evolving market, we’ll dig into the real issues that impact fintech fundraising.
Panelists:
- Johnnie Martin, Investor in early stage fintech companies at Augmentum Fintech. At Augmentum he works with a range of companies across the portfolio including Tide, Artificial Labs and LoopFX. Prior to joining Augmentum, Johnnie worked in Private Equity and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PwC.
- Stella Buhalis, Investor in Seed-Series A for Nauta, a Pan-European B2B Software fund where her thematic focuses include FinTech, InsureTech and Future of Work. Prior to Nauta, Stella worked Gaia, a start-up at the intersection of FinTech and Healthcare. She primarily worked with the Operations and supported their US launch through strategic research on their employer go-to-market approach.
- Daniel Rose, Co-Founder & CEO of Doshi, a gamified financial education platform partnering with leading banks and fintechs to make learning about money engaging and rewarding. His mission is to help people of all ages build confidence in managing their finances. Doshi is backed by prominent investors, including Calm/Storm, APX, and Hansi Hansmann. Before Doshi, Daniel spent over six years in corporate innovation and invested in multiple venture-backed start-ups as an angel investor.
- James Fell, the CEO and Founder of Credit Canary, a decisioning platform designed to help consumer credit lenders make informed decisions throughout the credit lifecycle. With over 15 years of experience driving growth in digital businesses, James has held leadership roles in both startups and scaleups. He holds an Executive MBA from Bayes Business School, specializing in corporate finance, strategy, and operations. James is passionate about using technology to enhance financial outcomes and brings expertise in operations, strategy, and innovation to the financial services industry.
