Navigating Conversations: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly offers practical techniques and powerful self-awareness tools to help you maintain control, deepen understanding, and transform even the most difficult exchanges into opportunities for growth and connection.
In this workshop, you will learn to:
- Manage the impact of emotions on your language and tone
- Set boundaries and maintain respect, even during intense discussions
- Ask for clarity and ensure you're truly understanding the other person
- Recognize your capacity to listen and how to expand it
- Recover when you're overwhelmed by negative emotions
- Pause or exit a conversation with grace, returning to it when you’re ready
- Identify the subconscious filters and biases that shape how you hear others
- Interact with the real person, not the "persona" you've created of them
- Understand the roots of disagreements and how to resolve them effectively
Why This Matters: In a world where communication is key, whether in personal relationships or professional environments, being able to navigate challenging conversations is crucial. This workshop will equip you with the tools to not just survive tough conversations, but to use them to build stronger, more meaningful connections.
