Navigating Consumer Minds: How to increase the likelihood of purchase and instil behaviour change
Cathrine Jansson-Boyd is an academic teaching and conducting research in Consumer Psychology. In her inaugural Professorial lecture, Cathrine will present research topics and findings drawn from her time as an academic.
The talk is essentially a book of three chapters. The first part will introduce the audience to how visual aesthetics can have a key role in changing consumers perception and increase engagement. This will be followed by the second part that delves deeper into aesthetics by looking at how tactile input can alter aesthetic evaluation and how it can create a psychologically based connection to products. In the third and final part, you will hear about how a short period of time can be enough to get consumers to engage in habitual sustainable behaviour.
