Once you are 15 years of age and a certified scuba diver, you can expand your diving knowledge with a NNAUI Advanced Rescue Scuba Diver course. Learn how to manage risks and effectively handle limited in-water problems and diving emergencies, how to assist and transport divers, and how to perform surface rescues and rescues from depth involving both boat and shore based skin and scuba divers.NAUI Advanced Rescue Diver requires 4 dives compared to NAUI Rescue Diver that requires 1 dive. The NAUI Advanced Rescue Diver course is a more intensive course and designed for those the dive without professional dive guides or scuba professionals in the area.
CPR and First Aid certifications are required to complete this course. Your Rescue Scuba Diver training moves you on your pathway to becoming a NAUI Leader as a Skin Diving Instructor, Assistant Instructor, Divemaster, or Instructor.
