Use needle felting to craft the ultimate handmade Valentine's Day accessory! Students will form their Valentines using needle felt techniques and mold with wool, then use the same needle felt technique to add their message. Students will take home two handmade Valentines (or anti-Valentines- you do you). A simple and satisfying foray into fiber and perfect for a stress reliever or Galentine's. This class is led by Tami Fuller of Blubird Studio.
About the instructor:
Tami Fuller is a second-generation fiber artist, and works as an educator and exhibiting fine fiber artist in East Aurora. Her work integrates the traditional foundations of hand-constructed
processes with modern technique. Her teaching presents the fiber arts in new, modern contexts that are still strongly rooted in traditional practices, and she teaches across both New York State and nationwide.
She offers both private and group instruction. Her work has been published internationally and has received awards from NY Sheep
and Wool and the Carnegie Art Center, and is held in private collections in the US, Canada and Australia. She is an
exhibiting member of the Buffalo Society of Artists and 2022 Roycroft Emerging Artist in Fiber.
