
About this Event
The Mount Dennis Branch and its neighbourhood is home to a variety of trees. Join City of Toronto Urban Forestry staff to explore the natural world on a local neighbourhood walk. Learn how to recognize different species and fun facts about their cultural and ecological importance.
Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent/caregiver.
Please note that the tour will start and end at the Mount Dennis Branch and will be guided by the City of Toronto Urban Forestry staff. There may be uneven, unpaved surfaces along the route outside and around the neighbourhood. Please dress and prepare accordingly for this outdoor program (e.g. gloves, hats, sunscreen, water, comfortable shoes). This program takes place rain or shine. In the event of severe inclement weather, please register with the branch to be notified of an alternative date.
