About this Event
Join Osborne Arts for a 1.5-hour creative writing workshop exploring nature from within the city.
This is a 1.5-hour guided writing workshop exploring ideas of nature through memory, objects, light, texture, and myth — rather than outdoor landscapes. Designed to be inclusive and weather-proof, the session invites participants to reflect on their surroundings through prompts focused on windows, sky, indoor plants, and everyday materials. The workshop balances structured writing time with optional sharing and listening, creating a calm and supportive environment suitable for beginners and experienced writers alike. Participants will leave with new written work and a take-home prompt to continue their practice beyond the session.
This session is guided by me, but it isn’t a technical masterclass or a play-by-play lesson in how to write a poem. I’m not here as an expert telling you the “right” way to write. Instead, I’ll offer gentle prompts, structure, and space to help you use your own imagination and voice.
