This family program for ages 1-5, with their adult, has a unique theme each week.Each session has a short hike where we learn about the theme for the week, songs, story time, and ending with a garden tour (time permitting). Adults must bring a snack for their child, to be eaten during the story. Program runs rain or shine. Everyone gets a colouring page at the end.
$15 per session, pay at the door (Adult + Child).
Sept 13 - Fall colours - learn about what colours we can see in the fall, and why colours change
Sept 20 - Trees are Terrific - Learn about trees and how they are helpful to all living things.
Sept 27 - Bat Adventures - have you ever seen a bat? Even if we don't see them they are still here, and very important! Learn about how bats are adapted to fly, how they eat, and why we love them!
Oct 4 - Migrate, Adapt, Hibernate - it is starting to get colder, and animals need to prepare for winter. Learn what different animals and plants do in the winter, do they migrate, adapt, or hibernate?
Oct 11th Autumn Harvest - Vegetables are ready, come learn about the different plants we can harvest in autumn, and give it a try
