Nature Reimagined Nights
Nature Reimagined Nights offers a unique monthly opportunity to savor the imaginative artworks of the exhibition "Biophilia: Nature Reimagined" and reconnect with the natural world in the tranquil setting of the Sensory Garden at the DAM. On May 21, June 18, and July 16, experience a blend of guided activities aimed at awakening the senses and reconnecting with nature. Included in general admission.
5:30 pm: Special Exhibition Tour of "Biophilia." Led by specially trained docents, these tours explore humanity’s deep connection to the natural world and the variety of ways that artists highlight the transformative power of nature through design, architecture, fashion, digital art, and immersive experiences. Tours meet in the Hamilton Building lobby.
6:30 pm: Mindful Connection in the Sensory Garden. From gentle movement exercises to creative sensory explorations and mindful practices, experience moments of profound connection with the natural elements of the Sensory Garden. Program takes place in the Martin Building Sensory Garden.
Whether you're seeking solace from the hustle and bustle of daily life or simply yearning for a deeper connection with nature, Nature Reimagined Nights offers an opportunity to re-examine and renew our intrinsic bond with the natural world.
This event takes place monthly on the third Tuesday of the month this summer on the following dates: May 21, June 18, and July 16. Learn more:
