Sign up today for Nature Preschool at River Bend Nature Center! Children will experience dynamic, free-play exploration of their natural environment. Guided by their innate sense of wonder, children will explore several ecosystems, including the bottomland forest, the pond, the wildside, and the hillside. The activities and locations are learner-directed so children have an opportunity to choose what and where they want to explore for the day. Nature Preschool nurtures intrinsic motivation and accommodates different learning styles. Through immersion in the natural world, children gain a sense of stewardship and responsibility.
Nature Preschool will take place every Tuesday and Thursday, from March to December (RBNC is closed on major holidays). Preschool is from 9:00 AM- 12:00 PM, and is for ages 3-5. You may select which month you want your child to attend. To sign up a $100 deposit is required to secure your spot and is applied to the first month your child attends. The fee is $175 per child per month for RBNC Members and $185 per child per month for non-members.
