About this Event
Nature can have a calming effect on our nervous systems. Data shows that when we spend at least 20 minutes in nature, it can lower our heart rate and blood pressure, decrease cortisol levels, and boost mood and improve creativity flow.
Join us for our 4th Fridays Nature Mindfulness Walks, every 4th Friday at Low Gap Park at 9am!
We will explore a different topic each Fourth Friday:
January 24: Processing Grief in Nature,
February 28: Grounding Practices,
March 28: Celebrating Springtime, and
April 25: Connecting with Nature.
N OTE: These workshops are funded in partnership with Chabot -Las Positas Community College District and Mendocino County Social Services Agency, with grant funding that is specifically allocated to training professionals and caregivers in Mendocino County who work with foster youth or those at risk of entry.
