NEW! Immerse yourself into nature through journaling. In this five-session workshop series, participants will engage with the natural world around them, honing their observation skills and creativity while documenting their experiences in a personal nature journal. Each session will offer a blend of outdoor excursions, hands-on activities, and guided journaling prompts to inspire a deeper connection with the environment. Whether you are a seasoned artist or a curious beginner, come discover the beauty and wonder of nature through the lens of your journal. This program is an indoor/outdoor program, please dress for the weather.Art supplies will be provided, but you will need to bring your own journal if you do not sign up for the full series. Children 12 and older do not require adult attendance.
All sessions meet at Ernie Miller Nature Center Thursdays 5:30 – 6:30pm
1 – 1 hr. session - $15 / $17 per session (journal NOT included)
5 – 1 hr. sessions - $68 / $75 for full series with journal*.
*Must register for all five sessions at the same time to receive discount and journal.
October 17: Wildlife Observation
Meet an animal friend from the nature center! From birds to insects, practice capturing movement and behavior in your journal while learning about the ecology of our area.
Nature & Outdoors Refund Policy: Full refunds will be granted provided notification of cancellation is received five full business days prior to the start of class. No refunds will be issued after that time.
