April/May MeetingJoin us as we dive into the world of nature journaling with this in-person, facilitated session. This month we will highlight spring ephemeral flowers. These fleeting little treasures pop up quickly and then retreat for the year. Learn about their unique life cycles and traits.
Participants can rotate through various nature journaling prompts. Weather permitting, we will include a nature walk to examine wildflowers on our campus nature trail.
The unpaved nature trail is approximately 1/2 mile and wraps around Lake St. Benedict. Picnic tables and benches are available if anyone wants to stay and journal at the lake at the conclusion of the program.

Through this club, we will spend dedicated time exploring, observing, and recording the natural world. We will highlight the basics of keeping a nature journal, different methods of organizing one, features and elements of a nature journal, and much more.
Please bring a blank notebook, pen/pencil, and a ruler. This program is intended for adults, but older kids/teens are welcome if accompanied by an adult.
No experience necessary, you just have to be willing to give it a try! All programs are listed under the events on the EEAI NE Region Facebook group.
