Proudly brought to you by Henderson Massey Local Board!!Get colourful and creative as you learn collage techniques and make your very own unique journal that you will decorate. We will be exploring the accordion or concertina technique to make a journal that folds out.
Your personalised journal can then be used for mindfulness and we will encourage the kids to write their feelings in words.
Tap into your creativity and learn some practical skills too.
Open to kids 7+
Adults are welcome to stay and join in with the activity.
The Re-Creators are on a mission to teach New Zealand how to upcycle, reduce, and reuse our resources, all while reimagining 'waste' into creative new crafts.
The ReCreators will be following all government Covid guidelines including that all participants will need to:
- wear face masks
- socially distance
