Come immerse yourself in nature and art with Nature Infusion, LLC and Ledgeview Parks, Recreation and Forestry. Studies have shown that immersing oneself in nature can help increase attentiveness, decrease stress, increase self-discipline, increase engagement with others, and can increase physical activity and fitness. Learning in nature can also provide a calmer, quieter and more cooperative opportunity to learn.In this 90 minute class, participants will use clay, leaves, and flowers to create ornaments and jewelry for yourself or to give as a gift. Learn basic clay techniques. Painting the clay will be discussed but not completed during the class due to clay dry time. Results may vary as materials provided vary to allow for the varying preferences and artistic creativity of each participant. The registration fee includes supplies needed for the class. This class is for kids and adults ages 12+.
