Description: You don't have to leave your neighborhood to explore nature! Join a Refuge Ranger at your local library and be a biologist for a day! We will work together to discover as many living things as we can in our library yards, explore how they are connected and make nature journals to take home. Activities are geared toward elementary-aged students, but all are welcome. Come dressed for the weather and outdoor exploration. Children must be accompanied by an adult.Activity Level: Easy-active, we will walk outside to the library lawn and explore in a small area.

What to bring: Clothing and shoes you can comfortably move around in. This program has indoor and outdoor portions, please bring outerwear appropriate for the weather. Event is rain or shine.
Accessibility: Restrooms and water fountains available inside of the library. Outdoor terrains include paved sidewalks and mowed lawn.
