This is a 6 week course running on a Thursday mornings 10 till 1 pm. You will learn how to draw and use watercolour enabling you to keep a record of the things you see while out walking, or plants and creatures that cross your path from day to day. We will even cover how to draw small buildings and landscapes, making the pages of your book interesting. Each page can become a snapshot of time, embellished with papers, stamps etc to make a very unique record for you to keep forever. You will learn tips and tricks on how to paint objects from real life, as well as using photographs.
You will need to bring a watercolour Sketchbook with you to these classes. If you would like to attend the workshop to make your own sketchbook to start this creative journey, please do so by booking separately (please contact us if you need any help with this) Jackie will also have some available to buy if needed. If you do have any watercolour paints please bring them along with an HB pencil and rubber a good watercolour brush size 4 and a Uni-Pin Fine Liner Pen size .05 or similar, but please check that the ink is waterproof.
Tea & coffee are provided but please bring something with you for lunch.
