Join us for a day of contemplation of nature and discussion of how the war in Ukraine impacts its ecosystems. In partnership with Ukrainian Jersey City (UJC), the UIA offers a day of activity. Start the afternoon with a guided nature tour in Central Park. Then come to the UIA for an exhibition of photographs depicting the beauty of Ukraine's environment, taken for National Geographic by acclaimed photojournalist Denys Kryvyi. The program continues with a discussion of demining efforts in Ukraine followed by poetry readings. Stop in at the Pop-Up Shop, Childrens Crafting Center and Information Center.
