Take a morning to slow down, breathe deeply, and connect with both the land and community. This hike blends mindfulness, gentle movement, and environmental education β€” an experience designed to nourish both body and spirit.

🌱 What to Expect

We’ll open our morning with a Five Senses Mindfulness practice πŸŒ¬οΈπŸ‘‚πŸ‘€ to ground us in the present, followed by a gentle full-body stretch πŸ€ΈπŸ½β€β™€οΈ to prepare for the trail. Then, we’ll set out on a guided nature hike that weaves together storytelling, community conversation, and native plant identification 🌿✏️.

Along the way, we’ll reflect on how the plants around us are part of the larger ecosystem of the San Fernando Valley and what they can teach us about care, resilience, and interconnectedness.

Please park in the northmost lot near the trailhead, directly to the left as you enter the park.

The hike follows a fire road with a mix of paved and unpaved terrain. Expect uneven footing, a gradual incline, and full sun exposure 🌞 β€” please come prepared with water and sun protection.
