About this Event
FREE activities in the park for under 5s and their parents/carers.
Bring your teddy to the park for a Teddy Bear Picnic! We will get our teddies ready for their picnic - they'll need a party hat and a picnic plate! We'll find them food in the park and build them a den to nap in! We'll play a few games with our teddies too!
All are welcome to join and activities are free, but children must be accompanied by a parent or carer at all times.
This session will be part of Waltham Forest's Storytelling programme.
When? Monday 12th September: 10am-12noon
Where? Meet us outside Leyton Jubilee Park Pavilion (by Seymour Road/Lammas School park entrance and adjacent to the basketball court). If there's rain/strong winds we will relocate into the Pavilion Community Room.
Key information:
• Book BOTH ADULTS AND CHILDREN who will be attending!
• Please cancel your space if you can't come, to make it available to others
• Bring your own snacks for when we break for storytelling
• Accessible toilets, baby changing and handwashing facilities are available in The Pavilion
• Dress for the weather, the session takes place outdoors as much as possible! Sessions will only be cancelled in extreme weather events
