Fall is in the air…! Join us each and every Saturday at the Trailside Nature Center for a variety of nature themed programming. All free – and FUN!
All programs either meet or take place at the Trailside Nature Center.

November 1 – Trailside Travels III: Dry Creek, Stone Steps
Need an excuse to get outside and get some exercise? Look no further! Every month, we’ll be picking a new path through Burnet Woods, learning plant and animal identification, and diving into some history around the park.
November 8 – Creeping Frost
Winter is fast approaching, and a chill is in the air… let’s take this opportunity to write dramatic, brooding poetry inspired by nature! We’ll take a short hike around the park (with stops to write), explore select pieces in the spirit of the season, and talk about how nature has influenced writing throughout history. Geared towards older audiences.
November 15 – Square Knot Bracelets
Join us as we make square knot bracelets with natural hemp fiber and learn a little bit about our native hemp dogbane that once was a staple of art and clothing in our area.
November 22 – CinciNaturalists III: Litter in the Leaves
Ever wanted to become an expert on the outdoors and its history in Ohio? Join us for this new program series exploring a new topic each month, how naturalists communicate it to the public, and what makes it so vital to our environment. This week, we’re talking trash—learning about how litter affects our environment, how to stay positive about it, and closing with a litter pick hike through the woods.

Trailside is closed this Saturday to be with family.
