About this Event
Join us as we read together by David Haskell.
"In this wholly original book, biologist David Haskell uses a one-square-meter patch of old-growth Tennessee forest as a window onto the entire natural world. Visiting it almost daily for one year to trace nature's path through the seasons, he brings the forest and its inhabitants to vivid life (Amazon)."
This is our first book club, and participants will help shape the experience, including deciding what to read next! We'll meet to discuss the book on Saturday, April 26th. We've reserved space at the School of Conservation at 10:30 am for this, but ultimately participants will decide whether to meet in person or virtually. You'll receive weekly discussion points to ponder that will guide our group conversation.
High School students and up are welcome to join. Please register by March 15th. Our official kick-off date will be March 17th. Participants will receive addtional instructions via email (don't forget to monitor the email address you use to register!).
