Join me for a mindful, sensory walk in a London park and experience the healing power of nature on your doorstep.
About this Event

We can all experience the healing power of nature, whether we're in an ancient forest or an urban park. We just need to know how to 'be' when we're there.

Join me for an urban Nature Bathing (mindful walk in nature) experience at Springfield Park in Clapton (Hackney).

Using a series of sensory activities, short breathing exercises, and deep relaxation techniques I'll guide you on a slow and mindful walk, which will help you to relax into your inherent connection with nature, and experience a profound sense of well-being. The session will also include group sharing, some science on how nature supports our mental health and wellness, and a few suggestions on how to create your own self-guided nature bathing experience.

Here's what participants from previous sessions have shared:

"I felt I really got in touch with nature in a deeper way, as if a channel of communication had been opened, or rather I felt that I found a channel of communication with nature that had been there all the time but that I had been often too busy to connect with."

"There was definitely something, sitting in the leaf litter, under the trees that made sharing a gentle, thoughtful, honest, and soft experience."

"I felt very relaxed and calm by the end of the session. I noticed that at the beginning of the session, I had thoughts that were distracting me from noticing nature, but as the session went on, I became fully immersed."

"I loved touching the trees, I feel like I individually know those guys now on a one-on-one, level - looking forward to checking in on them next time I visit :)"

I am a certified Forest & Nature Bathing guide and Director of Nature in Mind. My approach is based on the Japanese practice of Shinrin Yoku (ie: bathing in the atmosphere of the forest) with additional ingredients incorporated to enhance the therapeutic benefits of deeply connecting with the natural environment around us, whether that's a rural woodland or a managed urban park.

Full details on the precise location and what to bring will be provided on sign-up.

Groups will be capped at 10 participants, and a minimum of 3 signed-up participants will be required for the session to go ahead.

For adults (18+) only. No pets.
