Let's see what Big Rocky Run looks like in the snow!Where we are meeting: At the Sully Woodlands Stewardship Education Center in the same parking lot as Cabell's Mill which is located across from Walney Pond. You can park in the parking lot by the mill. We will leave the mill about 11:00am to start our walk/hike along the water.
There are real bathrooms available in the Walney Visitor's Center just a few minutes away. I'm not sure if the Education Center will be open.
What we will be doing: We will go walking along the Big Rocky Run Trail and explore along Big Rocky Run. The main trail is paved and "off trail" has gravel/dirt. It's safe to assume that areas may be snowy and/or icy.
NOTE: Dress for the weather as it will be cold. I suggest wearing winter gear and boots that can get wet. You may want a warm drink waiting for you in the car for after the walk.
