This hike will pass through an old-growth forest, go behind Grotto Falls, and showcase views of the backbone of the Smokies from Brushy Mountain. Participants will walk among large ancient hemlocks, birches, buckeyes, maples, and carolina silverbells. At this Branch Out hike, participants will have a medium-impact experience requiring some extended periods of physical exertion.
