Nets, tanks and waders galore, this program is in-seine! This hands (and feet)-on program tests the inter-tidal waters of the Hudson River off of Kingston Point Beach, for fish and macro-invertebrates that call this protected cove home. Bring shoes that can get wet. We won't be swimming, but will be going in the water with waders to fish with a large seine net. Catch and release of course, for educational purposes. No grills allowed.A Naturalist’s Passport is 13 Thursdays of free hands on interactive, outdoor nature programs. Programs are designed for families and are free.
