We are so pleased to welcome Alison Middleton from the Hogscroft Hedgehog Rescue to speak about the story of her charity and her experiences with hedgehog rehabilitation!Alison launched her "hog hospital" in Perthshire back in 2023 and has devoted every minute since to caring for ill or injured hedgehogs, alongside a loyal network of volunteers. Those which cannot be released are kept in her hedgehog sanctuary in Inchture known as "Leo's Garden." If you'd like to learn more about her work, how to make your gardens safe and welcoming for hedgehogs, or what to do if you find an injured hedgehog, then join us for a fun and educational hedgehog-themed evening!
Before Alison's presentation and the following Q&A, we will be holding a fundraising event for Hogscroft. We will be starting the event a bit earlier at 18:00 for the fundraiser. Expect some hedgehog inspired activities to help save more hogs! 🦔🦔🦔
This is our third Natural Narratives event of the 2025-2026 season. Sessions will run on the last Friday of each month from September to March (excluding December). Our aim is to bring our community together during the long, dark winter months to engage in educational activities and discussions focused on environmental topics. Our hope is that we all leave each session with new ideas about how each of us can make a difference for Scotland's wildlife, nature, and climate.
We kindly ask for a minimum £1 donation to book a ticket for each of our Natural Narratives events, and any further donations are greatly appreciated to help cover our costs.
