About this Event
Natural History Collage Night - Nests
Join us for a relaxing evening of creativity and exploration at the Nova Scotia Museum of Natural History creating collages inspired by the wonders of nature! The evening will be hosted by Brenna Frasier, Curator of Zoology and Rhonda Barrett, collage artist, Cuts and Paste Gallery.
The evening will start off with an exploration of some of the nests housed in the Zoology Collections. We will then explore some collage techniques and create our own collage inspired by weaving and nesting.
We'll provide all the necessary materials, however, feel free to bring your own materials too, if you have any specific ideas in mind. Whether you're an experienced artist or just starting out, this event is the perfect chance to explore a unique medium.
Please note that this event is geared toward adult attendees.
*Limited registration spots, reserve early!
