This program contains information on Natural Gas Vehicle and Filling Stations (Residential and Commercial) hazards and safety. This course covers basic vehicle safety and
technology changes at an emergency response level. Operating systems, construction, and safety
features are discussed throughout the program. Fuel systems, fill stations, safety work zones, and
vehicle construction are covered. Changes to size-up, extrication techniques, and use of field
operations guides will also be presented in this program. This course was developed as part of
the Clean Cities Learning Program through the U.S. Department of Energy
