Part of Eco Fest West and brought to you by Creative Communities West!Victoria Martinez Azaro aka La Creative Mamas is hosting a workshop for The ReCreators teaching techniques for Natural Dyeing, which is the oldest way of dyeing.
Our ancestors used to dye all their cloth naturally using plant materials, leaves, roots, bark and flowers, as well as veggies, fruits and insects.
Even though natural dyeing takes longer and the results cannot always be predicted, this method allows you to produce the most magical, intense and bright colours ever!
Please wear old clothes to the workshop. (or bring an apron). You may also want to bring a face mask. You are welcome to take notes during class, bring a notebook if you want to do that.
