Natural Dyeing Workshop

Take inspiration from summer gardening and harvests to dye your own clothing using natural dyes derived from plant matter in this 3-hour workshop. The workshop will cover the technical aspects of natural dye including vat dyeing and bundle dyeing on natural fabrics. Each participant will walk away with 5 fabric samples. Participants are invited to bring foraged plants from their gardens, provided they are safe for dyeing. Materials and PPE (gloves) will be provided, but folks are invited to bring a plastic bag to take their samples home, as well as an apron to protect their clothing.
