Join us for a cozy winter evening exploring the magic of transforming wild plants and kitchen scraps into sensory delights! First, you’ll earn how to set up natural dye pots to create a range of fabric colors from nature. The workshop will also cover how to prepare fabric for dyeing as well as safety and clean up procedures. While your fabric is soaking, you’ll assemble your own simmer pot kit using dried fruits and plants. This stoptove potpourri can be used year round to scent your home and makes an excellent housewarming gift. Each participant will leave with at least one hand-dyed tea towel and one simmer pot kit as well as instructions on how to create more from home.Cost:

Note: This program is intended for adults and teens ages 13 and up. Pre-registration will close at 5 pm the day before the program, or whenever the program sells out. If the program is sold out, you may register to be added to the waitlist (you will not be charged), and you will be notified if a spot opens up. This program will take place indoors.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellation requests received at least 7 days before the scheduled program are eligible for a 50% refund of the total registration cost, not including the credit card processing fee. Due to administration costs, full refunds are not available. Cancellation requests received within 7 days of a program are not eligible for a refund. In the event that Blandford must cancel the program, you will be given the option to reschedule or receive a refund. All community programs will have a registrant minimum. If the minimum is not met, you will be contacted by Blandford Nature Center and notified of your refund options.
