Info: 8:00am	Welcome and Sign-in	
8:30am	Pesticides in the Environment and Pest Identification	Lecture on pesticide movement to non-target areas through drift, runoff, etc., and description of weeds, insects, and disease.
9:00am	The Worker Protection Standard	Lecture on WPS and the laws pertaining to workers and handlers on farms, forests, etc.
9:40am	Herbicide Chemistry, Formulation, and Mode of Action	Lecture on herbicide target sites and mode of action, resistance mgmt., adjuvants, and W**d biology. There is a focus on woody plant biology and herbicides used in forest environments.
10:30am	Break	
10:40am	Pesticide Arithmetic and Understanding the Label	Review of area calculations, weight/volume conversions, and how to read a pesticide label.
11:30am	Lunch	
12:30pm	Pesticide Arithmetic contd.	Review of rate calculations including gallons per minute, gallons per acre, and how to achieve a label recommended application rate.
