Join us the first weekend of December for our annual Nativities and Noels community display. 800+ nativities will be on display from around the world. See the beauty and love each culture, each region, shares in their depiction of the Nativity.Enjoy live Christmas music performed by local musicians and musical groups while you tour the nativities and reflect on the Saviors birth.
Each nativity on display is on loan from community members from throughout the greater Topeka area (extending as far away as Burlington, Emporia, Garnett, Lawrence and Hiawatha). The selection of nativities displayed varies from year to year.
This event is for all ages, young and old. Families are encouraged to attend and participate together. We will have a Nativity Seek & Find game available to help draw your attention to unique and fun details in this years display. A nativity craft will be available for children to take and enjoy at home. And we'll have a grab-n-go cookie you can take with you at the end of your visit.
Saturday evening, features our Music Program and Audience Sing-A-Long, "The Nativity in Music", at 7pm. Sunday evening at 7pm, at the conclusion of the event, all are invited to view the Live Christmas Devotional Broadcast featuring the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square.
