Ready to have a hand in restoring an urban forest? Help us plant native trees and understory shrubs in Walker Park’s forested areas along the Waxhaws disc golf course on Saturday, November 15th, from 9:00 am to noon. We’ll be planting locally grown native species provided by the Watershed Conservation Resource Center. RSVPs are appreciated, but not required. Please reach out to [email protected]. All ages are invited to participate!
All tools, equipment, water, and snacks will be provided. We recommend wearing long sleeves, pants, and sturdy shoes. Meet at the Walker Park Splash Pad parking lot at 753 S. Block Ave. Fayetteville, AR 72701 (Coordinates: 36.05425, -94.16145).
